While many reproduction-based MA-1 jackets use flight nylon, this piece intentionally selects fine-wale corduroy (micro-cord) while staying true to the authentic flight jacket pattern and details.
Finished in four colors, each jacket undergoes bleach processing and garment dyeing to create a worn, vintage-like texture and character.
Based on the Canadian military flight jackets that FIFTH has carried in the past, this design blends details from U.S. MA-1s and other international flight jackets, along with elements inspired by 1980s–90s designer archives.
In true FIFTH fashion—reflecting years of working with military garments—attention to detail is key. For example, the original mil-spec tag is intentionally removed and replaced. The silhouette is wide and cropped, reminiscent of 1980s proportions.
