Based on the iconic American workwear pants, the sizes and patterns are adjusted to fit our own body shape and lifestyle. The detailed construction and the color and texture of the fabric are tested many times, and multiple dyeing and multiple layers of processing are applied.
FI - 12oz Distressed Double Knee Pants
Based on iconic American workwear brands, we adjust the sizes and patterns to fit our own body types and lifestyles. We test the details, color, and texture of the fabric over and over again, and then go through tedious dyeing and multiple processes.
The fabric is a higher density cotton duck than the original workwear brand.
We can't possibly compete with a manufacturer that has been making clothes for 130 years, and there would be no point in making the same thing. We have created pants that we think are just right for wearing now.
*Measurements taken in centimeters.
Due to handmade nature of this style, measurements are approximate.Waist taken at top of waistband down to crotch seam at fly.
Inseam taken from crotch seam to hem. Hem width taken at edge of leg opening with garment Laid flat .
Based on classic painter pants, the material and details have not been changed much, but the balance around the waist and hips has been adjusted and the legs have been changed to a wide style not found in the original.
The wash processing has faded the discoloration, and the tough 12oz material gives it a texture very similar to a certain double knee.
The side seams are raw from the waist to the hem.
