50's Vintage US M-51 Arctic Trousers / Red

The US military's cold weather M-51 overpants are often sampled by various brands as a source of inspiration.

By first bleaching the fabric to remove the color and then dyeing it again, we have created a color lineup that is not available in the original.

These pants were originally designed as windproof pants, and are made from a tightly woven cotton/nylon material that keeps out the wind, giving them a unique texture not found in vintage reproductions.

In addition, the firm texture of the fabric further accentuates the three-dimensional oversized silhouette created by the action pleats at the knees.

As it is based on deadstock, which is rare these days, the cargo pockets come with tape to stop bleeding, and the original through-type pockets can be used with a bag attached.
